Petition for Canadian Government Action: Prosecute and Deport Foreign Individuals espousing Homophobic Views

To the esteemed Canadian Prime Minister, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, Minister of Public Safety, and Minister of Foreign Affairs:

As concerned Canadians and members of the LGBTQ community, we express our deep apprehension regarding recent developments in North America, specifically concerning immigrant communities espousing homophobic views and the wide-ranging negative impacts they have had across Canada.

We sincerely appreciate the Canadian Government's commendable efforts in implementing effective policies to safeguard LGBTQ individuals. Canada's ongoing leadership in this domain is highly commendable.

However, we firmly believe that stronger measures are necessary to prevent these vitriolic communities from exploiting Canada's freedom of speech to harass and mistreat others. It is well-documented that numerous Muslim immigrants, including their family members, have actively lobbied and campaigned against LGBTQ rights. It is absurd that these homophobic individuals can freely enter Canada, obtain permanent residency and citizenship, and then proceed to target Canadian citizens who have resided here their entire lives.

The presence of such individuals within Canadian society contradicts our values and domestic policy objectives, and poses a tangible threat to the safety and security of all Canadians, particularly LGBTQ individuals. As a nation that prides itself on safeguarding the well-being of its citizens, both at home and abroad, it is imperative that our government takes swift and decisive action by promptly apprehending and deporting Muslim individuals who espouse homophobia.

Regrettably, our current entry and immigration screening procedures appear inadequate or misaligned with our foreign policy goals and the broader mandate to ensure the safety and security of our populace. For example, background checks lack the level of scrutiny routinely applied by other Canadian institutions to prevent politically, culturally, and morally compromised individuals from participating in our financial sector or economy.

If left unaddressed, these policies and procedures undermine the sense of safety and security of the LGBTQ-Canadian community, while perpetuating Canada as a safe haven for terrorists, human rights violators, and their dependents who exploit our generous welfare system.

To establish a more consistent and proportionate policy response that addresses the loopholes in our immigration system and upholds Canada's commitment to holding individuals accountable, we call upon both our federal and provincial governments to promptly implement the following recommendation:

Enhance entry and immigration screening procedures by introducing a mandatory declaration for foreign nationals entering Canada, ensuring their values do not conflict with Western Culture.

As signatories of this letter, we urge all ministers to take immediate and decisive action in response to these recommendations. We eagerly anticipate collaborating with you to fortify Canada's domestic policy objectives, ensuring that our country does not become a sanctuary for human rights violators, Islamic fundamentalists, and homophobes. As members of the LGBTQ community, we deserve to feel secure in this nation, and we firmly believe that the aforementioned measures will enable us to pursue peace, prosperity, and safety.
