As we enter this holiday season, we also approach the end to a long and difficult year. While 2020 is almost over, our work to recover and rebuild is just getting started. To see a stronger democracy, a more stable climate, racial and economic equity, stronger protections for women's rights, and the end to this devastating pandemic, we have to continue to show up. One of the best ways to show up for social justice is by putting money in the hands of nonprofit organizations who are fighting for justice.
That's where CREDO comes in. Each month, CREDO selects three progressive organizations to donate $150,000 to — the distribution of those funds is then voted on by the people. Since 1985, with the support of our customers who use our mobile products, we've donated over $90 million, with the total growing by millions each year.
For the month of December, CREDO will be donating to Center for Economic and Policy Research, Free Speech For People, and Green America.
Many times, these organizations have a proven track record of progressive victories which gives us – and our members – confidence that the donation dollars these groups receive are supporting meaningful projects that really make a difference.
