This is very important to all rat lovers. The Doctors said on National TV that rats should be used as nothing, but "food for snakes." That they carry all kinds of diseases. This is not true. Pet rats are one of the cleanest animals on the planet including humans. Cat scratch fever is way more common than RBF, because a lot of cats go outside where they pick up the 'cat flea' which is the organism responsible for getting the bacteria into us when flea feces gets on cat paws or in their saliva and they bite or scratch us. Humans can seriously make me sick sometimes! I will be writing the show. I highly encourage all fellow rat lovers to do the same! We are asking that The Doctors do a apology on national television about misrepresenting the rats and not having the knowledge to back up their information. Rats have been domesticated since the early 1900's. For rat lovers everywhere please sign this petition, so us and our rats can get the apology we deserve. Also we would like to show our condolences to the family that lost their little boy, however, just because it happend to one person does not mean that people have the right to condone all rats as evil and disease carriers. "The Doctors" need to apologize for using FALSE information.
