Traffic Light

We the undersigned citizens of Morton would like to have a traffic light installed at the intersection of Main St. & Jackson St. This intersection is one of the busiest intersections within Morton, yet is controlled by a 4-way stop sign. Currently there can be up to 7 vehicles at same time trying to get through the intersection. The traffic flow is exceptionally unorganized as well as confusing during the times following local business shift changes, and also school dismissals.

Though the cost would not be inexpensive, this addition would be a much needed improvement to the growing population of the Village of Morton. Thank you for your time and consideration to this matter.
