in 2008, the marriage rights of same sex relationships was up to the vote, prop 8. First of all this started out horrible because this should not of been put up to the public to decide. Second of all, republicans wrote the law to confuse people, by voting YES you were saying no to same sex marriage, by voting NO you were supporting same sex marriage. many people voted YES because of their religion, but honestly how is it effecting you? Why dont you put yourself in their shoes right now, how would it feel to know you cannot get married to your partner. i dont people fully understand the wonderful aspects of marriage, sharing a name, money,health care and many more. we can still change law!
We the undersigned believe that marriage to should be allowed for all whether you are gay or straight. Let's not change the lives of millions for the worse, let's live in harmony and be able to accept each other for everything. Help us spread the love and peace throughout. Please help change lives! Thanks for listening to our proposition even if you do not agree, it does not hurt to hear a different point of view every once and a while.
