Term Limits for the US Senate

It is the opinion of these citizens that career politicians have corupted the United States Senate.  These men, who have spent decades in office to serve their own political agendas, have weaken our nation and destroyed the original intent of the founding fathers who set out to create a government "of the people, for the people and by the people".  Since they are unwilling to relenquish their power and are not interested in the will of the people, we find it necessary to take matters into our own hands and issue this petition. 

We propose an amendment to the United States Constitution that would limit Senators to no more than two terms in office.  We ask that this amendment be place on the ballot in Novemeber to be voted on and ratified by all Citizens and not just the Washington Elite.  It is time for change in Washington and that time is now.
