Support Orthodox Jewish Feminist Organization in their fight to end Gender Segregation

The women of Kolech, the first Orthodox Jewish feminist organization, has filed Israel's first-ever gender segregation class action lawsuit.

The organization of women is attempting to end the deeply engrained discrimination that has denied women a voice in their community.
"Usually we talk about [discrimination against women] and nothing happens," said Riki Shapira, Kolech board member. "When people will understand it's going to cost them a lot of money, we hope that things are going to change."
The lawsuit comes after an ultra-Orthodox radio station repeatedly denied women's voices on their station's programming. Even if the subject matter was women, not one single women's voice was permitted.
Gender segregation in the ultra-Orthodox community is rampant. Just recently, a teenage girl was forced to the back of the bus by two Orthodox men while an 8-year-old girl was spat on for "dressing immodestly." It is time for change.
Support Kolech in their fight for women's voices!

We the undersigned would like to express our support for your recently filed gender segregation lawsuit.
The discrimination of women should not be permitted for any reason but, unfortunately, has become normalized in the orthodox community.
Kolech's fight to attain equality in the Orthodox community is the first step to ending such discrimination.
The voices of women are vital to a successful community.
We thank you for your continuing support of Orthodox women and ask that you take each signature as a token of our support.
