TELL NESTE OIL TO USE LOCAL VEGETABLE OIL INSTEAD OF IMPORTED
The Finnish oil company Neste Oil has decided to start production of bio diesel fuel. This is an important step in boosting the production of bio fuels. The company, however, is considering to use imported Malaysian palm oil. Using domestic turnip oil would save energy and support local agriculture.
Please sign and encourage Neste Oil to use domestic oil.
We, the undersigned, applaud the Neste Oil for its decision to start the production of bio diesel and strongly support its ambitions to become leading producer of traffic fuels with reduced environmental impact. In order to do so, however, it is of a great importance to use the local resources. The Finnish countryside provides great opportunities for cultivation of turnip, a great source of bio diesel. Transporting oil from far away would consume vast amounts of energy and thus be environmentally deplorable.
We, the undersigned, respectfully request that Neste Oil will use domestic turnip oil instead of imported oil. By using local resources You would not only save vast amounts of energy otherwise consumed by transporting the material from far away; it would also provide a prudent solution for domestic agriculture.
We, the undersigned, beseech you to hear our appeals and to choose Finnish turnip oil as the raw material of bio diesel, thus making a worldwide difference.
