Beating Debt
In May 2008, the Federal Reserve estimated consumer debt at $2.5 trillion, which means $8,500 of debt for every person in the U.S. We are spending more than we are earning, and it is affecting us. Most social problems stem from the mismanagement of money. We must unite and educate people on this addiction to spend money.
Beating debt is very difficult because all for-profit companies are very persuasive in convincing families to part with their money, no matter the cost it incurs to the family. This is a revolution because we are trying to overthrow convincing marketing tactics. We will not be bound to our credit cards and loans. Instead, we choose to live a life free from debt and are working together to succeed.

We the undersigned understand the need to earn profits in business. However, we the undersigned can not help you earn those profits if it causes us to go into more debt. Debt is plaguing our society as being one of the leading causes to social problems. We can not stand for such poverty and destruction of our families and community. We will not be convinced by marketing tactics to purchase unnecessary products through loans.
We ask you to:
1. Provide us with the lowest price for products and services.
2. Provide superior products and services in order for us to gain great value.
3. Provide us with all information to make informed financial decisions.
4. Place the words "Shop Responsibly" on all marketing efforts.
5. Enforce consumer friendly sales tactics.
