Show us the traffic ticket money!!!

Millions of traffic tickets are issued every year through America...yet where do those revenues go?  Many times quotas are imposed on local police to generate traffic revenue whose revenue subsidizes technology and police car upgrades... if this is the case, where do the allocated funds for the police go?

We urge open books as a federal mandate as to where the traffic ticket revenue goes-- who receives it, how it is disbursed, who benefits from it. This is a very substantial part of the American economy little known about by ordinary citizens.

Mr. Obama, you endorse Feeding America. Consider that ONE traffic ticket of say $50 would provide 350 meals (7 meals/ dollar,according to Feeding America), not to mention additional insurance charges. The total traffic ticket revenue in this country would probably end all hunger and perhaps subsidize a considerable portion of other programs to benefit the needy. What if "violators" were given a choice as to where their fine money goes, such as to Feeding America versus some clandestine municipal coffer?
