END THE FACEBOOK COMPETITION ON MUHAMMAD (SAW) PORTRAIT.

I would like to request The Governments of the world to put an end to this Facebook Competition which is causing a lot of grief and anger amongst muslims. We muslims are not interested in other people's religious belief and seldom if ever disrespect other people's faith. We have a place in this world, and desire to be respected and treated as equals. There is no reason for our faith to be made light of and we wish that this sort of disrespect to our faith be ended. We are not extremists and are not the ones who have anything to say about others, except live and let live, we would be grateful if the world's leaders would put and end to this incident which is causing instability. in the interest of putting an end to religious intolerance. This is a sensitive issue, and those of us who understand grassroots Islamic sensitivity and are able to empathize and agree with these sentiments; wish to have this facebook competition ended. There was a time in the past when people respected each others faith, and we as muslims would like this world in which we live in and consider ourselves to be a part of to respect our religious sentiments.
