Help Reverse the Critical Shortage of Primary Care Doctors

There is a critical shortage of Family Medicine physicians and General Surgeons in this country. The Senate is now trying to address this problem by increasing the number of residency training positions in this country by 15,000 each year. The way Healthcare reform amendment SA 2909 is written will NOT increase the number of primary care physicians.  Because it will cost millions of dollars and will not help to increase primary care physicians in our communities please encourage your senators to vote against this amendment.
