Improve Winter Sidewalks
Our Group is made up of people in London Ontario who live with disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy, Deaf/blindness and Fibromyalgia. We are concerned with improving the quality of life and well being for all Londoners, and the issue of plowing sidewalks in London is crucial to the elderly, mothers with strollers, children, the handicapped and many others. The roads in London are plowed but the sidewalks are neglected, making travel unsafe and impossible to thousands of us every winter.
The Disability Action Group asks that you take a few seconds to sign this petition to help improve the plowing service of city sidewalks for people in wheelchairs and those with other disabilities, who have trouble getting out in the winter.
