Keep Private Enterprise out of the AWA. Do NOT allowHSUS to OVersee Animal Welfare Act. H

We the undersigned are asking congress to deny the Humane Society of the Uninted States the right to "oversee" the Animal Welfare Act.  By their own admissions "HSUS" is an animal rights group that would see an end to animal ownership or use.  One of their primary goals is to force all people to become vegans.
The USDA rules establish fundamental standards intended to provide for the humane care and treatment of dogs and other animals.  This is a government agency and as such should be overseen by the legislature and not a private organization.
HSUS is a private organization that is involved with writing bad laws for animals.  The HSUS is also involved with questionable practices when it comes to fund raising.  Case in point, when hurricane Katrina hit the LA coast HSUS begged for donation and received 34 million dollars.  Only 7million dollars has been spent on re-uninting the animals with their owners.  When Michael Vick was charged with dog fighting the HSUS asked for donations to "take care of the Vick dogs".  HSUS had no care of those dogs and in fact advocated for their destruction.
HSUS is a well funded animal rights organization that takes in millions of dollars a year to "help animals" yet they spend less than 4% of that 120 million dollars to help animals in local shelters.
Please keep control and oversight of the AWA in the hands of the government experts and not given to an animal rights organization who is trying to end animal ownership.  We the people undersigned do formally beseach congress to grant our request.  Respectfully United  Responsible Dog Owners Groups Int.
