Let's keep the strippers in the clubs, not the sidewalks !
I am not here to argue whether or not strip clubs should be allowed, my concern lies in the constant parade of flesh that's allowed outside the club's doors in full view of the public roads and near by neighborhoods. Gold Club of Groton sits right across the street from a neighborhood of families and a youth center, and on any given summer's day you can find various girl's parading around in string bikini bottoms and pasties...or less. I no longer want to explain why someones bare bottom is exposed to my 3 and 6yr old children. The management should enact rules forbidding the girls to be outside in their "work" attire during daylight hours knowing that their are numerous oppertunities for children to be exposed to an otherwise adult enviornment. If they can't comply, then they should close and go else where. It is not unreasonable to expect some decency due to the location of the establishment.
We the undersigned would like you to be made aware that we don't want bare backsides to be what our children see when they're out of school for the summer. Adult clubs and exotic dancers are for adult's eyes and should not be allowed to spill out into public sidewalks and streets as a means of free advertising. When they're not working, girls should be required to be covered and dressed like normal citizens, not in their working uniforms. We are positive that this will be as importent an issue for you, as it is for us.
Thank you for taking the time to be made aware of our concerns,
