The concept of Virtual Airlines still doens't seem to amaze many virtual pilots that fly online. With all main carriers such as American Airlines, British Airways and United Airlines all having their virtual counterpart, some virtual pilots want a change.
In Ireland, their are 3 main airlines. Their's the high cost Aer Lingus, flying short haul to long haul routes, using mainly Airbus Aircraft.
There is also Aer Arran. One of Irelands regional developing airlines, who also serves some international destinations.
But whats most important to the aviation industry in Ireland, is Ryanair. Ryanair's sucsessful stratergy of low fares, no thrills has sucseeded its competition with Aer Lingus and Aer Arran, and also sucseeds other budget airlines such as Easy Jet, Monarch and Thomson.
Ryanair's popularity, sucsess and fantastic on time service is something all aviation fans should be proud about.
Getting to the point, Ryanair is flown very very regularly on online ATC networks such as IVAO and VATSIM. What would be even better to have is a Ryanair Virtual Airline, that could compete directly with Aer Lingus Virtual, and Aer Arran Virtual.
This would increase RYR / FR traffic on networks, and would proove very popular with pilots.
With no direct e-mail or contact for Ryanair's Marketing \ Adveritising Dept, I'm asking for all those who would agree and would fly with a Ryanair Virtual online, to sign this petition so I can write to Ryanair in Dublin, to proove the popularity and love for Ryanair that the virtual flyers have.
