There is a crisis in our health care system. We have all heard about overfull emergency rooms, filled to capacity hospitals, and waiting lists for Long Term Care Homes. But our government is trying to save money by limiting and cutting funding to Home Care. This makes no sense!
Currently there are many people in our hospitals that are ready to go home! They want to go home, but need a helping hand to get there. Tell our government we want our tax dollars to help these people to go home. Save money. Free up hospital beds. Ease the stress on our emergency departments. Send our people home with the support they need!
We the undersigned want increased funding to support our Community Care Access Centres. We want our patients/family members/community members who in hospital and ready to return home to get the help they need to go home! Help our community. Help us go home. Save the hospital beds, emergency rooms and Long Term Care Homes for those who truly need them.
The rest of us want to go home!
