Haitian Relief in Haiti - Not the USA
The Earthquake in Haiti was horrific. No one is arguing that but Florida (or any other state they may migrate to) can not take in the estimated thousands of refugees from Haiti that are already arriving. We are all struggling and just can't afford to lose jobs, housing or tax dollars to support non-Americans. If you would like to contribute to Haiti you may do so but help us keep the Haitians out of our state by signing this petition. This petition has been sent to Governor Charlie Crist and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on January 19th 2010, please continue to sign it to show our growing efforts. By taking the time to sign this you show our elected officials that you will not just look the other way on our own country.

We the Undersigned agree that the earthquake in Haiti was horrific. However, Florida can not take in 45,000 refugees from Haiti. We are all struggling and just can't afford to lose jobs, housing or tax dollars to support non-Americans. Please reconsider bringing the refugees to Florida.
