Reopening of Action Park in Vernon NJ

It was commonly known as "Accident Park", "Traction Park" and by many Vernon Township Doctors as "Death Park". But one thing still holds true Action Park was a rite of Passage for many boys and girls from the Tri States whom walked through the Blood Stained Gates of Action Park.....Boys became men.....girls became women. Being a true New Jerseyan i knew Action Park was a test of ones grit. Many of us whom went to Jersey's most dangerous amusement park still wear scars we received there as medals of honor and badges of courage. I believe Action Park should see its resurrection after its closing over 14 years ago and in its place is Mountain Creek Waterpark...a former shadow of what once was. For those of you whom had many fun summers at Action Park and believe that Action Park should rise from the ashes should really join me in petitioning to have the park rebuilt and reopened so the new generations of New Jerseyans can also take that rite of passage and walk through those once blood stained gates and test their grit as we all did so many years ago.
