We Love Brandon
Many of you might not know that my son Marcus has a two year old son Brandon that was taken by Fairfax County Human Services from his mom when Brandon was an infant. Despite that Marcus already has custody of his other son Jayden now four by the same mom the county is refusing to return Brandon under his father's care and is all set to terminate Marcus%u2019s parental rights and place him for adoption. The county won%u2019t consider me because of my age and has even refused my son Licano and his wife%u2019s Lisa request for custody despite the fact that they have both have well paying jobs, a home and two children around the same age as Brandon. Brandon is one of my thirty-seven grandchildren and I am finding this very disturbing that the county is making life altering decisions regarding our family especially since we want and love him. Brandon%u2019s brother Jayden knows and asks for his brother all the time. What do we tell him? Your bother was placed for adoption and you%u2019ll never see him again. The finally decision for Brandon%u2019s fate is on October 26, 2009. This is our last hope I am asking that you sign this petition it%u2019s the voice of our family letting the county know that we want Brandon home!
