Michael Vick Should Help Pit Bulls, now!

I am highly upset that Michael Vick signed with the Eagles because of what he used to do with Pit Bulls. Fighting Pit Bulls is wrong, and I don't think Michael Vick fully learned his lesson.
The only thing I can think of is to have Michael Vick promote others to adopt dogs from animals shelters, promote spaying and neutering, and to educate people about how bad breeding and fighting Pit Bulls are.
Pit Bulls are not bad dogs. They are incredibly intelligent and when in the wrong hands people can make them do terrible things. I own a Pit Bull that lives with two others dogs, a cat, and a bird. She is a friendly, happy-go-lucky dog. I work at an animal shelter that takes in mostly Pit Bulls and I am a Pit Bull Advocate.

Found out you were signing with the Eagles. Of course, we are very disappointed with this because fighting Pit Bulls is NOT a mistake and we still believe you have a lot you need to do before you gain people's trust again. To prove to everyone that you have changed, you should highly consider helping out animal shelters and promoting people to spay and neuter their pets and not fight or breed Pit Bulls. Animal shelters receive dogs (mostly Pit Bulls) EVERYDAY from all over the USA. They take in bait dogs, fighting dogs, breeder dogs, abused and neglected dogs, old dogs, dying dogs, little dogs, and perfectly healthy dogs. We have pretty much seen it all! Right now, shelters are forced to euthanize animals because of how many homeless Pit Bulls there are. At many shelters, there is not a single opened cage because they are overloaded with dogs. Do you know how much euthanizing these innocent, sweet dogs hurts us mentally?
Do you know how upsetting it is to hear other people to tell Pit Bull owners that their dogs is a child-killer or a dog-eater. For people to accuse innocent Pit Bulls of being something most of them are NOT is not fair! We are sure you can agree with this. Animal abuse is a terrible crime and we hope and think you've realize that. We hope you understand where we are coming from. Pit Bulls used for fighting and breeding almost always end up in shelters because they are taken from their owners or they wonder the streets only to face euthanasia. Most of these fighting/breeding dogs are GREAT with people, which we are sure you know. Some of your Pit Bulls got a second chance at life because of their sweet personalities with people. Pit Bulls are clearly used for the wrong reasons because they are willing to please their owners and do anything for them! Pit Bulls are incredibly intelligent animals and should really get the chance to show the world that!
You should really payback all that you did to those Pit Bulls and make a difference, now and put out a pro-active message about not fighting or breeding Pit Bulls, and adopting from animal shelters. It's not fair that people can get away with fighting and breeding Pit Bulls, especially since YOU had to pay your time in jail and there are still many out there that are fighting Pit Bulls, right now! We'd think that you'd want to make sure everyone else who has fought Pit Bulls are forced to pay their time, too!
Michael, if you truely want a second chance, here it is! Help out the animal shelters and Pit Bulls. Spread the word that Pit Bull fighting and breeding is totally wrong. Please, put your money where your mouth is!
