Close Indiana schools. Give kids their credits

17% of students in Indiana school districts do not have internet. 60% of Students whose families make around 20,000 a year do not have Wi-Fi. These districts are requiring students to have to do assignments online. That's right, the students that often need the most help are struggling the most in this time. The districts have sent out wifi buses, and made deals with internet providers, but you often must travel to get to them. How can some parents, who have to work, take time off from work to go to a parking lot where the child can do schoolwork? If they are to poor to have Wi-Fi, then they are too poor to miss paychecks. If they go when they are off work, and they go to a parking lot, where presumably other students are using the free internet, then they could potentially risk catching covid-19. Also, this internet can become slow. If there are dozens of students doing this. It is unreasonable to expect parents, and students to have to put themselves in potential danger to use wifi that will most likely be extremely slow, limiting the buses productivity. The state of Indiana, the state board of education, and Governor Holcomb need to say that it is wrong to discriminate against students who do not have internet, and put the lives of these children, and their families, at stake.
