As the serially indicted fraudster is wont to do, Trump publicly attacked Judge Juan Merchan, who is presiding over his hush money trial (this is the secret payment to a porn star trial, not Trump's decades of fraud trial or his stolen classified documents trial).
The MAGA cult leader called Merchan a "certified Trump hater" and then made the mistake of going after Merchan's daughter, who he targeted for working at a "Super Liberal Democrat firm" — and we all know by now that when Trump targets people, death threats, abuse, and harassment from his minions swiftly follow. His behavior earned the disgraced ex-president an immediate gag order from Judge Merchan, which he has now violated.

It took him less than 24 hours to attack the judge's daughter once again. For far too long, Trump has been able to wiggle his way out of consequences for anything and everything he does. Even his recent bond payment deadline was just extended and greatly reduced from the near half-billion judgment.
Trump uses his mouth and his social media outlets to intimidate and bully anyone who tries to hold him accountable or oppose his heinous agenda. It's vital that we send a message to the nation and make it clear that the law applies to EVERYONE, especially ex-presidents who incite insurrections against the government.
