Besides being an Emmy winning reporter, you miss his familiar smiling face, the tone of his voice, and his charismatic personality. His way of honest news reporting and being home grown talent, you know he is very interested in what is going on in the Chicago area. We need that in our Chicago news anchors, someone that makes you feel that they aren't just regurgitating the news, they are one of the people you trust the most in life: Kevin makes you feel that he is that trusted Neighbor, Friend, Brother, Father, or Uncle - he has trusted us with the most personal parts of his life and reports everything we need to know that may have unsavory consequences to our lives with a true caring disposition. Chicago television news has to bring Kevin back - because watching the news without him - is like having only strangers in your living room.

We miss him greatly he isn't just a Chicago news anchor he has become our trusted friend. I am not sure how you can ignore his 12 years of excellent reporting in Chicagoland and his Emmy winning reports. He opened up to us about the hardest part of his life and became so much more to us than just a guy reading the news. He is a native Chicago area guy and that means alot to us. He is caring and charismatic and we miss his smile, the tone of his voice, and his reporting style.
