We all have our very own, very limited amount of time on this planet -and it is dying, poisoned by long hours of meaningless work for someone else to make a profit, by filthy politicians, by lying TV news people, by stupid fights with our neighbor, by standing in line for a loan from the Shylocks in bloody banks, by trying to look younger and sexier, by regretting the past and fearing the future.
We are desperately running out of time, time for learning a cool coin trick for the kids, for actually reading a book that is not about teenage magicians or sex in the city, for hugs that last more than a second, for thinking about the day and the way we felt interacting with other people and ways to improve that.
We declare that we shall waste no more time, and we will start by saving the time we are killing stuck in traffic, feeling trapped and stressed and angry -save it by watching the clouds changing shapes, by putting on some music we never heard before, by calling back this crackpot auntie, by thinking of ways to support a cause we would be really interested in, if we only had the time.
