About the Coalition
The World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) is leading a global Coalition of animal welfare organisations calling for an end to the long distance transport of animals for slaughter. United against the unacceptable cruelty and suffering caused by transporting animals long distances, the Coalition is seeking to ensure that animals destined for slaughter are not transported beyond one of the nearest available abattoirs.
We the undersigned,
would like to bring to your attention that we think it is disgusting the way animals are treated. Live transport like this should be abolished and your the only one keeping it going. So please read this and think that you can be the voice of reason for these poor animals that have no voice, we as a group have signed this petition to be the voice of the animals.
