33rd Street Proposed Two-Way Conversion - Between 1st & 2nd Avenue

As you may or may not be aware, NYU has requested and received approval from NYC DOT (Department of Transportation) to convert 33rd Street between 1st & 2nd avenue from a one-way street to a two-way thoroughfare. The Board of Directors strongly opposes the conversion and believes that the decision by DOT to proceed can be reversed but only if there is a tremendous groundswell of opposition from the Kips Bay Community. Please join us in opposing this conversion by signing this petition.
