'Literally' does not mean 'figuratively'.

Lexicographers at Merriam-Webster have altered the dictionary's definition of the word 'literally' to mean 'figuratively' as well what the word literally means. This kind of slippage is a disservice to the public. Our young people deserve a precise and nuanced English language.
