Relocate Gir Lions to Kuno Sanctuary IMMEDIATELY

The Asiatic Lion now only occurs in the Gir Forest in India. Their numbers have risen to over 500 due to conservation efforts. However, having all the Asiatic Lions together in one area makes them highly susceptible to a disease. This is why the Indian Government decided to relocate some of these lions to Kuno Palpur Wildlife Sanctuary in Madhya Pradesh in 2013. Since then, however, not a single lion has been transferred despite the Indian Supreme Court requesting some of the lions be relocated.

Let's make this happen together and ensure the survival of this rare majestic cat by allowing it to retake its natural habitat. Politics can wait, the lions need to move now.
