Demand harsher punishments for leaving animals outside during extreme temperatures

All 50 states have in place a felony charge for animal cruelty however only a few of them consider leaving your pet outside in extreme weather such as freezing and or very hot weather cruelty. Let's change that. Today in my state Ohio there was an article that I read where someone left their dog outside and it froze solid. How is that right? These people/person should get jail time and have a felony on his/her record. No animal deserves to be treated this way and we need to end it. It's a dream of mine to make it where people don't just get away with treating animals badly and or killing them. I want to get justice for each and every one of them that have to endure this kind of life. Please sign my petition to help make laws harsher so people will think twice about doing it.
