It is the understanding of the members of the OTOW Wood Shop that the project to construct an Arbor Conference Center, Building Two, includes in its planning the provision of a billiard room. This room would replace the existing facility located in the Hobby and Craft building.
It is the desire of the Wood Shop that the freed-up space in the Hobby and Craft building would be made available for an expansion of the Wood Shop.
On this date, February 7, 2018, the Wood Shop has 167 members. It is anticipated that our membership will exceed 200 this year, a number greater than in any previous year.
An expansion of the Wood Shop would facilitate our ability to accommodate this level of membership and create an environment of more working space which would improve the safety and functionality of the Shop.
Therefore, the undersigned members of the OTOW Wood Shop request that OTOW plan for the existing billiard room space to be allocated to the Shop for expansion.
