Stop the new Royal Mail rules violating our human rights to privacy

In 2013 Royal Mail introduced a new rule whereby post office counter clerks are to ask senders what the contents of their parcel are. Refusal to divulge the information will result in you being turned away, parcel in tow. Being asked 'what's in it?' Is a violation of our human rights to privacy!! What if the contents are sensitive in nature? I have complained about this issue to Royal Mail, and the majority of my questions/issues/points were dismissed. I escalated the complaint and even got a thrid path to review the complaint, however as you can probably guess they sided with Royal Mail (still with no answers for me).

I got given mixed answers, both contradictory and irrelevant. The advisors used the words 'safety and security' as though those two reasons justify violating human rights to privacy. They do not! 

i gave an alternative solution to the issue, but this was ignored. 

I was was told (in a round about way) that us, the public, aren't capable to following the guidelines as they are and so extra measures have been put in place to make sure parcels  are being posted correctly.

forcing us to divulge the contents, and/or information we may not wish to divulge and punishing us (refusal to send parcels) if we don't 'give up' the information is atrocious! 

We have human rights. We are entitled to privacy. Don't let Royal Mail or anyone take that away!
