(I didn't know there was another one before starting this one :-)
The conflict between the BCTF and the BC Government has not been resolved. It has been going on for too long.
We need strong action now. BINDING ARBITRATION is the best way to have all your children back to school and teachers back at work.
The binding arbitration is only for salary, benefits, and small stuff. This should be fast and efficient.
Bascially, binding arbitration means that both parties agree that a third person makes a decision for them on the issue. When they agree, the outcome cannot be changed. It is binding.

The submission of a dispute to an unbiased third person designated by the parties to the controversy, who agree in advance to comply with the award—a decision to be issued after a hearing at which both parties have an opportunity to be heard."

If agreed to binding arbitration as proposed, the class size and composition is to be decided by the Court.
