WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP STOP VIVISECTION

 http://www.vivisectionfraud.com/

What can the genuinely concerned person do to help end the fraud of vivisection?

We believe that education is the most important first step to abolition. However, before being able to educate others it is essential that we first educate ourselves to the fraud of animal experimentation. As the first step, read Slaughter of the Innocent. Written 30 years ago, and still in print, it is as valid a call for abolition as it ever was. Then read the follow-..up, Naked Empress.

Read the two CIVIS Bulletins from 1983 and 1988. Though for many people new to the movement some -.. though not all -.. of the names of people and organisations in them will be unknown, whilst many will no longer be around, the facts within them are a major document of the history of the A V movement over a 20 or so year period. They should be read with the following in mind: “He who forgets the past is doomed to repeat it”, the point of which should be clear to anyone capable of thought. It is my hope that soon a concise and accurate history of the A V movement to date will be written, and which will go a long way to opening the eyes of all those who wonder just why vivisection has continued into the 21st century.

Follow these with the CIVIS Foundation Reports, starting with number one and read through in sequence.

Read the CIVIS ‘Black Booklet’; Vivisection is Scientific Fraud. 42 pages of b/w photos from vivisection labs the world over, and originally part of the first edition of Naked Empress. Again, a lesson from history, and perfectly valid as ever, despite the veneer of respectability that the proponents of vivisection try to place over the practice in order to hide the ghastly truth from the public. In reality, despite the intervening years since this booklet came out, little has changed for lab animals.

Finally there is the CIVIS Questions and Answers booklet, and various articles.

My advice for those new to the horrors of vivisection, and who GENUINELY wish to do something about it, rather than dream, would be to read the CIVIS literature and to treat it as a beacon of light to guide you. Use it as the standard by which all future so-..called A V campaigners, organisations, books, and articles you come into contact with are judged. Ideally, any campaigning groups, no matter how small, would be based upon these works. Remember that a one man outfit can achieve -.. indeed, did achieve -.. much more than the biggest so-..called ‘anti-..vivisection’ organisations, with their numerous staff and large incomes, if run upon genuine lines.

To anyone seriously contemplating joining the fight against vivisection we respectfully suggest that:

A) The notion of ‘animal rights’ is consigned to the history books; it has reduced the level of anti-..vivisectionism to the level of playground squabbling, whilst creating a loathing on the part of most people for the anti-..vivisection movement.

B) Any discussion about ‘alternatives’ to vivisection, or the ‘3 Rs’ (reduction, replacement, refinement) is not entered into for reasons that should be obvious to those who have read the material on this site.

C) It is remembered that the threat of infiltration is very real indeed.

D) Avoid the big national A V societies, whose actions clearly demonstrate their incompetence, whether accidental or otherwise.

The purpose of this Hans Ruesch Centre is twofold: to encourage the dissemination of information promoting the total abolition of vivisection on medical, scientific, economic, environmental and ethical grounds, and to keep alive the memory of Hans Ruesch, his books, and his message. Request to be added to our e-..mailing list, or keep checking back for news,

It is, though, mainly our hope that from the tragic loss of Hans there will emerge a new, courageous, and mature anti-..vivisection movement in this country, and indeed world-..wide, to help humanity awake from the stupor it is currently in. If you seriously think that you would like to be involved in such a project, and you have read carefully the material on this site, and agree with our position, please request being added to our e-..mailing list.

What else can the concerned citizen do to help end vivisection?

As anti-..vivisectionsts, we are often asked "But what can I do help stop vivisection?" A little or a lot, it all depends on you. A drop in the ocean? Maybe -.. but that is what the ocean is made up of!

In short, it is vital that we do all we can to inform others of not just the cruelties of animal experimentation, but also the harms done to people through basing our health care system on the wrong methodology of vivisection; the ridiculous belief that in some way mice are miniature men.

Lend your books and DVD to friends, family and work colleagues.

Distribute leaflets to houses in your area, or to the pubic in busy places -.. such as shopping areas or train stations.

Leave small amounts of leaflets in places where they are likely to be picked up, such as in health food shops with the permission of sympathetic owners.

Put on video screenings to groups of friends, or members of environmental, animal welfare, womens’ groups, etc.

Write letters to newspapers. Remember there is much more chance of it being published in a local paper than a national, and if the letter is clearly typed, and to the point. Don't waffle! Don't be disheartened if it is not published, but try again at a later date.  Make copies and send to other local papers. Write your letter in response to recent news items, such as drug damages, the cost of the NHS, etc.

Write to your MP demanding the total abolition of vivisection. Do not be deterred by unfavourable replies! Point out that vivisection has caused, and is causing, terrible damage to human health, the environment, and the economy.

Support only the genuine anti-..vivisection movement! Support only those groups that demand the immediate and total abolition of ALL animal experiments on both moral and medical grounds. Unfortunately some groups have been infiltrated by vivisectionists in order to ensure the continuation of vivisection. These are recognisable by their cries of abolition of only "some" experiments, or of the “eventual" abolition of vivisection. They often demand the "replacement" of animal experiments with "alternatives", or of the "refinement" or "reduction" of animal experiments (the "3 Rs") -.. all sly and subtle ways of suggesting that vivisection is beneficial and as yet cannot be abolished immediately.

Put on anti-..vivisection displays in public places, such as libraries or in school foyers. Leaflets and other campaign materials can be obtained from the relevant groups listed, or download articles and images from the internet for your display.

Display anti-..vivisection posters (legally) where they will attract attention.

Avoid animal-..tested products. See if the label says "cruelty-..free". If in doubt, contact the manufacturer to ask their stance on animal testing.

Avoid charities engaged in vivisection. This includes most, although not all "medical research" charities. Probably all of those engaged in "cancer research" fund vivisection. Do not fund these -.. they are the arch torturers. Contact any charity prior to giving if you are unsure,  to ask their policy on vivisection.

Publicise the internet addresses of this web site, especially at schools, colleges, universities and other educational institutions, most of whom will have access to the internet -.. and thus a wealth of good anti-..vivisection information.

As you can see, there is a great deal an individual can do, with some suggestions outlined above. There are probably other ideas you could come up with to help further the genuine anti-..vivisection message.

Finally, avoid the prescription pad where possible. Less profits for the drugs industry means less money for vivisection. Perhaps you could consider seeing a registered naturopath, accupuncturist, homeopath etc for medical advice? Remember that doctors are trained in drug-..company funded medical schools, and may have financial interests in the drug companies.

Good luck in your campaigning!

this is what hitler did to people now its being done to animals to vivisection is a source of evil they dont even understand thier pain thier only release is death
