Demand an end to Dogs being tied up outside shops

I am doing this "For the love of Dogs". as England is supposed to be a nation of "Dog Lovers". We claim we are but there are so many neglected dogs that the RSPCA have rescued.
In one word i can sum up why this petition is important, because it is "CRUEL". Why should anyone tie up their dog while they leisurely do their shopping or go into a restaurant in the warmth and have a meal, while the dog suffers outside in the bad weather conditions we have.
I see this on a daily basis, it seems to be acceptable when it really should be unacceptable. Your dog should be part of your family, so would you tie up your member of your family outside?
STOP taking your dogs out with you when you go shopping, take them on a separate walk, then leave your dog at home and do your shopping after. STOP being lazy and look after your dog properly.
