STOP ALLOWING NPS Rangers Endangering Innocent

See video on FB page where 3 NPS Rangers showed up at Jerry’s while my family was getting off river 07/04/19. This was over a can left on a rock by my son. Ron swam 1 mile upriver got can swam to NY side handed it to Kevin Reiche NPS ranger. This NPS ranger said “It doesn’t matter there in a lot of trouble”? I had gotten raft with myself 3 adult kids & 6 y/o granddaughter to PA side down river (told by Jerry’s stay on PA side due to rocks). I had no idea if Ron had drowned he’s 64 & asked multiple times where he was without a reply. The Ranger Reiche kept saying if you don’t get the raft over here your in a lot of trouble? I told him I wasn’t able to paddle upriver & waited 45 minutes. I see 3 NPS vehicles one with a canoe all lights on & also a rescue boat next to raft on PA side told them there was access from where we were? Why didn’t they use canoe? I then fearing Ron was dead with all lights took raft to Jerry’s. Arriving 3 NPS Rangers stood on grass embankment above rocks we pulled raft onto. They never identified themselves, all Reiche said was “take the minor child up top, rest go to picnic table” I asked where Ron was no answer. I picked up Chanel & my youngest daughter Jessica stepped out of raft no shoes, only a bikini, asked to use bathroom (had menstrual cycle) officers ran down embankment grabbed her arms she kept screaming “what did I do” over & over & begging them to let her go. She yanked her arm away thrown to rocks face first she struggled to get up grabbing a rock trying to get up Rambo said “Assaulting a Federal ranger” bc the rock hit his shoe? He knew how wrong this was & realized it was being videotaped so he was grasping at straws for anything to charge her with although she had done nothing. I immediately handed Chanel to my daughter Stefani (her mom) to protect Jessica. I started screaming to let her go yet due to paresis of voice couldn’t yell loudly enough so my son said “Get off her, Get off her” then screamed “Dad Dad Help” Ron ran down (detained at our car)he was told he was not allowed down & our car was searched? He got to top of grass embankment said “Now you’ve taken it to far buddy” this other Ranger on top of Jessica knee in her back while if you look Reiche had already taken his Taser out of L holster while I was interfering so to stop the abuse of my daughter. Reiche had intended to tase me, this would’ve killed me I weigh 100 pounds & have a spinal stimulator in my abdomen (not enough room to put in my back) he was standing in front of me I didn’t even realize he took taser out until I watched the video. Ron arriving thank distracted Reiche. “Rambo Ranger on top of my daughter pulled his gun from R holster pointed it directly at Ron!!! Ron froze we were horrified my granddaughter witnessed the entire thing Stefani had froze in horror! Then Reiche never put his taser back in holster & as my son walked as directed towards picnic tables tased him in his BACK he went down I started screaming this ranger Reiche shot a second electric shock into my sons back bc he didn’t get up fast enough? My son on his stomach handcuffed & in shock didn’t move “fast enough” are we in a third world country just bc it’s up state NY & not NYC? The Rangers I learned had tried to cuff Ron his wrists were to big, they took his pocket knife, & drivers license questioning him on why he had his old DL with the punch hole? He said it’s his way of seeing how he’s aged lol yet they had no right to ask, & no reason to detain him he is a very mellow person not aggressive as anyone who knows him is aware. The sight of this 200 plus pound Ranger on top of our 110 pound daughter as she lated face down in the rocks is enough to make any parent fear for the life of their children. Then watch the video as Reiche quietly not saying a word tased Zach in his back while he was following instructions. At the picnic table Jessica begged to go to bathroom they said no female officers, I told them I would go with her & a Ranger refused multiple times. Zach’s handcuffs so tight hands were blue I asked they loosen them as Reich pretended to do so yet didn’t. We then were told they were being taken 45 min away near E.Stroudsburg & we could follow. My daughter had urinated on herself when slammed onto the rocks, she wasn’t even aware of this until in the NPS vehicle she involuntarily had worse if you can imagine to her humiliation. When we arrived not allowed in, I asked why & no answer just door slammed in my face. We got there 30-45 minutes after they had arrived yet had to sit outside for over 30 minutes. Then a ranger asked if I had different clothing for Jessica? I said no just a towel not realizing why she needed anything until she broke down on the way home. Jessica is diagnosed with epilepsy & has been seizure free for 2 years. The day after this incident she suffered a grand mal seizure from stress. Both Jessica & Zachary have been physically & emotionally assaulted. My granddaughter is scared of anyone in a uniform or a police car. Chanel actually asked me if Jessica &
Zachary were dead after seeing this unlawful attack. We sent her & her mom home in Stefani’s car not wanting Chanel to witness any further misconduct. Please sign this petition against the use of EXCESSIVE FORCE BY ANY TYPE OF LAW ENFORCEMENT ESPECIALLY NPS DUE TO UT BEING A GOVERNMENT ENTITY FUNDED BY AMERICANS THIS IS AN OUTCRY FOR JUSTICE! If it saves just one other innocent person from the assault by a NPS Ranger that’s all I want. This also is to let the law enforcement persons who act within their scope of practice to not be injured or killed out of fear due to the actions of these unethical Rangers. Beware anyone taking a trip down the Upper Delaware these two officers were training the third (young man) who although tried to diffuse the situation couldn’t yet did nothing to stop it or call for backup knowing these actions were unjustified.
