Hello, everyone, my name is Ben Davis I'm 17 years old and I live in England. And if you know me you'll know my undying love for Stevie Nicks!
There's no sob story for this I'm just a mahoosive fan of the celestial mother of rock.
For as long as I can remember I've been a fan of Stevie it wasn't a show or my parents playing her music when I was younger that got me into Stevie. It was this. When I and my brother were younger my father would give us £20 pocket money every month and I remember this like it was yesterday and its changed my life ever since.
It was the 21st of August 2009 and I stumbled into HMV to purchase some music for my CD player as I was looking for a Jessie j CD I noticed this beautiful blue CD in front of me and it was, of course, Stevie's 1981 solo debut album "Bella Donna" I've always been interested in magic so Stevie's silk chiffon Bella Donna cape that was on the front and back of the album enchanted me completely! So I walked up to my father and bought the album (i couldn't wait to listen to it) so when I got home I played it on my CD player and I've been a fan ever since.
Since that day I'm proud to call to myself a Stevie Nicks fan then after the discovery of Stevie Nicks of course then come along Fleetwood Mac. So in 2015, my father took me to the o2 arena in London to see Fleetwood Mac as apart of their "On With The Show Tour" It wasn't front row seats but any seat would have meant I was in the same room as Stevie! And nothing could change that fact. I remember every song and I'm so glad that I can relive that show on YouTube.
In 2016 Stevie announced her "24 Karat Gold Tour' (It was originally planned to be a North American tour) But as fans demanded more shows more dates were added into all parts of the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
And a one-off U.K appearance was announced at Hyde Park headlining with the great Tom Petty so of course I went to the show and met a fellow Stevie fan and it was the best day of my life finally hearing the title song of the album I picked up 8 years ago performed on stage "Bella Donna" with the very same cape that drew me to Stevie all those years ago (Stevie's mother was right Silk Chiffon is unbreakable)
After the show, I decided to make a fan account for Stevie on Instagram after many usernames attempt my friend helped me pick the perfect one "Stevie Nicks Nation" and since then I've gained 13.3k followers and I love it so very much.
Being the massive fan I am I bought tickets to see Fleetwood Mac perform in London at Wembley stadium in June of this year as apart of their "An Evening With Fleetwood Mac Tour" And it would be an absolute dream to meet Ms. Nicks. Please help me try to make this a reality it wouldn't only make my day but my life please sign this petition.
