Highway 36 Restructuring to Save Lives

Highway 36 has several dangerous intersections on a four mile stretch from Lake Elmo Avenue all the way to Osgood - now with the additional traffic with our new bridge - something has to change and quickly. Several lives have been lost at this intersection with the most recent February 27 and another serious accident March 9, just 3 miles down the road. 

We propose Highway 36 be changed similar to it was in North St Paul. All crossroads need to either go over or under this highway. Lake Elmo Avenue, Manning, Washington, Greeley and Osgood. Possibly eliminate the Washington crossover if necessary.
