Include Residents in the Decision Making Process

Residents of the Arkansas State Veterans Home in North Little Rock, AR request the opportunity to have a voice in the decisions of hiring direct care personnel. The request originates from the promise that this is the veteran's home and is to be treated as such. Therefore, the veterans should have a right to have input on who is in their home and should be notified or included in a decision to bring someone new into the home or remove someone from the home when it comes to the direct care staff that is assisting them.
