Save Silverdale Mallards

After the recent loss of a female mallard that has been visiting Silverdale for a least a few years, I am growing ever concerned that the mallards are at risk of being hit by cars going over the 20 speed limit. I would like from this to offer, even if it's only a little help, to be able to make people more aware of the mallards by requesting the Nottingham council for a 'duck crossing' sign to hopefully avoid future tragedies like this.
