Ask Delta to give service dogs to people who need them

Delta Airlines has been making the news for clamping down on comfort animals. Their flights will not now allow ferrets, ducks, or rabbits or any less orthodox therapy animals. Company representatives complain that comfort animals are urinating and defecating inappropriately. Delta has not addressed the question of where, exactly, therapy animals are expected to relieve themselves. The bottom line is that Delta doesn't want to sacrifice any aircraft space to therapy animals because that will cut into their profits. Meanwhile, more than seventy percent of people who really need a service animal can't afford one because insurance won't pay for them and they start at $15,000. Please join me in asking Delta Airlines to divert one percent of its profits to providing service dogs to low-income people who need them.
