We NEED to stop tearing doen Trees, AND Soon!

I was sitting at home during summer. Everything was fine until my family and I looked across the street. (here's a little side note: there weren't suppose to be any more mobile homes coming into our cul de sac.) Across the street people were tearing down trees to move in a mobile home. I'm concerned because the more plants we tear down the less oxygen we will have to breath later on. I would like it if we started planting a plant, whether a tree or a flower, for every plant we tear down. No I don't mean every flower but for every patch of flowers you destroy you plant another somewhere else.
