Fight For Your Rights!

The USA Patriot Act has gone too far. It infringes on our civil liberties by violating both the 1st and 4th amendment of the Constitution. Thus, right off the bat, it is evident that this act is unconstitutional. Because there was a terrorist attack more than 10 years ago, the government finds it necessary to monitor all of their citizens, even those who are the most ordinary and law obeying. As citizens of the United States of America, we feel a sense of dishonesty with our government because they do not conceal their actual doings. The government searches through all of our records - bank records, health records, taxes, library records, etc. The next time to vote for extending the Patriot Act will be in 2015, however, we need to act now to increase awareness and hopefully outlaw this bill in the future.
