Petition to Address Concerns of Judicial Bias in Courtroom

We, the undersigned, call for a thorough investigation into the conduct of Judge Thompson and opposing counsel, Joe Harsh, in recent cases. Concerns have been raised that these two individuals share a close personal relationship that may compromise the integrity of the judicial process.

Joe Harsh and Judge Thompson were classmates in law school, and this shared history could create potential conflicts of interest. Furthermore, records show that Harsh, a lifelong Democrat, was one of 29 individuals who donated to Thompson’s Republican primary campaign—where Thompson won by a narrow margin of 62 votes. Additionally, Harsh’s signature appears on Thompson’s candidacy petition from 2022, one of only 64 listed.

These connections raise serious concerns about bias in the courtroom. We believe that justice should be impartial, and we urge an immediate review of these relationships to ensure fairness in legal proceedings.
