Stop the rezone/Make Lake Oswego Provide Better Affordable Housing Options

Petition in Opposition to Zoning Changes for the
West Lake Grove Design District

We, the undersigned, oppose the zoning changes for the city - owned property at the corner of SW Boones Ferry Road and West
Sunset Drive, File No. LU 21 - 0019. The West Lake Grove Design District should be developed as it was carefully planned for a
commercial node of office buildings between the retail areas to the northeast and southwest. The city should not unilaterally
change the zoning for its own property, which will adversely affect this commercial district and the surrounding residential
areas. The property should be sold on the open market, and the sales proceeds can be invested in housing in a residential zone.
