KEEP THE MEJIA MACHINE

Mr. Mejia has recently announced his upcoming departure as a member of the Mater Academy High faculty. This has issued concerns of how to continue his legacy and who shall execute it. However, through his 10 years as a Mater educator, Mejia has established a creative and effective system of encouraging independence and responsibility among his students which has garnered him the increase in passing rates. Said system not only influences the way his students study and prepare for his class but also how they do so for other classes. All in all, the impact of his system is beneficial to his current students and past alumni and we wish to keep it this way by petitioning for Mejia to continue overseeing the APUSH course in Dallas through use of Edmodo and online resources. This will not only ensure the success of his dedicated students but also push them to practice responsibility in an online course, which will help train them in any future online courses taken in college. As a college preparatory school, we would like to bring this up to Mater High Administration with our present and future academic endeavors in mind. Thank you for helping!!!
