Call for UK and Australian pet shops/websites to stop selling small animal cages

Cages as small as 80cm are being sold as guinea pig cages, cages as small as 100cm as being sold for rabbits. This is not acceptable and they need at smallest 120cmx60cm for a guinea pig. Call for them to take responsibility for the animals they are providing homes for. These cages should adhere to RSPCA guidelines.

Dear Ferplast,


We would like you to review your cages in line with the RSPCA's animal welfare guidelines and make your cages larger. All your cages are too small for the animals you suggest to fit in them. Please take responsibility for animals who cannot speak for themselves.
