House Democrats passed a $15/hour federal minimum wage as part of the upcoming stimulus package. Senate Democrats plan to send the entire stimulus package through budget reconciliation, which allows them to bypass the Jim Crow filibuster and GOP obstruction.
However, the $15/hour wage increase has been blocked by the Senate parliamentarian. Happily, there's another route forward…

The vast majority of Americans support the $15/hour minimum wage...and that was before the pandemic made rich people richer and poor people poorer. A year into COVID, it's never been clearer that we need to treat our workers – the backbone of our economy – much better.
Most of our elected leaders are among the wealthiest people in the country. We can't let a bunch of millionaires hold back a life-changing policy for millions of America's hardest workers.
