Save Coach Murray! Demand Changes at Bonham!

Coach Murray has been an amazing addition to Bonham Elementary School this year. She has consistently gone above and beyond teaching our children fun new games while also familiarizing them the fundamentals of exercise. She has introduced the new quartly attendance and honor roll awards for the kids, boosting moral and parental involvement. She created races at the annual Rabbit Run and awarded the top three girls/boys of each grade with a certificate and recognition. She consistently teaches good leadership skills by also awarding a special Good Sportsmanship award to the kids that show exceptional kindness to their classmates. She works hard for our kids every single day and she puts everything she has into teaching them well. Unfortunately she has had some major health issues during the school year and because of this they are terminating her contract once the school year is over. The school allocated her a certain amount of sick days and because of the unexpected health issues she missed a few more days than allowed. She is feeling much better and she has recovered 100% but the school is not changing their minds. I am a parent who has children at this school and I have seen first hand how amazing Coach Murray is with my kids and everyone else's. She doesn't deserve to lose her job because of a health issue that has already resolved itself.
