Bring Back Designing Women! We need the voice of Linda Bloodworth Thomason today (more than ever)!

With Will & Grace, Roseanne and Murphy Brown making returns, could there be a better time to revisit the Sugarbaker Design Firm? Maybe a new generation of designers should take over the business – Charlene had a daughter, so did Mary Jo. Sadly, we’ll never get over the loss of Dixie Carter, but Delta Burke, Annie Potts and Jean Smart are still going strong! I can imagine Delta popping in from time to time—maybe Suzanne inherited Bernice’s Christmas tree skirt! Jean and Annie could show up as well.

And if there was ever a time for Linda Bloodworth Thomason’s rare ability to comment on difficult issues with her own unique brand of humor, THIS IS IT!
